Tri-set for slow growing muscles

Hey Biglee,

What do you recommend for a slow growing muscle where the rest of the body is growing in balance.Everything is growing but my arms.
Should I increase the number of sets and/or exercises for this area or more forced repsor should I train the area more often or should i do something else?

Thanks,
Ranjeeth

Biglee:

Hey Ranjeeth,

Muscles recover and adapt faster than what we could imagine, so you may have to change exercises to find more workable movements. Try to experiment with Tri-sets.That is performing 3 basic biceps exercises one after the other without much rest(5 - 10 seconds is ok). Then repeat the whole cycle again. Perform 4 such cycles for your biceps. Then similarly do 4 cycle of three different exercises for triceps.

Try to increase workload slightly on each workout and gradually decrease the rest times between exercises in triset to ZERO.

As your arms are lagging you may train them on every 5th or 6th day while you train other body parts once in a week.

Workout hard and you will see results very soon.

Cheers.
