Morning Exercise or Evening Exercise for Fat loss

Q: Which is better for losing more weight, Morning exercise or evening exercise?

Biglee:

A calorie burned is a calorie burned, whether it's burned in the morning or at night. However the most important thing is choosing a workout time that you can really stick with. If your mornings are already crammed up with dashing off to the office, a more realistic plan may be to exercise in the evnings or even after your dinner.

Just keep this in mind, if you want to torch fat, you will need at least 40-45 minutes of moderate or high intensity exercises 4-5 days a week, no matter what time of the day you decide to do it.

  5. Boneface,

the logic is this, in empty stomach (early morning) your blood does not carry much sugar(energy) and your body resorts to fat for fuel soon and hence empty stomach cardio burns more fat.

If fat loss is your ultimate goal then empty stomach cardio is a must

  9. Hi Jagadeeswhwar,

If you keep your carbs only around your breakfast and workout... keep all other meals rich in protein and fiber, you would lose all the unwanted fat in ur body .. supplement yoru diet with some fish so that you retain teh good fat in ur body to maintain physiological health...

    cheers
