How to do a Bench Press?
🏋🏽♀️Lie supine on bench. Dismount barbell from rack over upper chest using wide oblique overhand grip.
🏋🏽♀️Lower weight to chest. Press bar upward until arms are extended. Repeat.
Important things to notice to avoid common mistakes.
- Breath in while you lower the bar to chest ( easy part of the movement) AND Breath out while you press (tougher part of the movement)
- Don’t hold the bar too wide or too close. Hold it a little wider than your shoulders.
- Make sure that the bar travels in a straight line vertically and doest not move in a trajectile.
